Last week in lab meeting, master’s student Olivia Goulette presented her thesis that looked at the effect of traumatic brain injury and Alzheimer’s Disease risk factors on communication decline over time! 🧠🗣️ Dr. Mueller also brought a variety of delicious donuts! 🍩
Congratulations to lab member Olivia Goulette on being invited to present her Speech-Language Pathology master’s thesis project titled “Associations Between Self-reported History of Traumatic Brain Injury on Longitudinal Cognitive and Speech Changes Linked to Alzheimer’s Disease Risk Factors” at the 2025 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference!
Kristin Basche, CCANDL Biostatistician, received a $550 data training tuition award from the Coordinating Center for the Centers on the Demography and Economics of Aging and Centers on the Demography and Economics of AD/ADRD for the course, Introduction to the Health and Retirement Study! Madeline Hale, CCANDL PhD student, is the recipient of the 2025 Emma Allen Fellowship Award! She has been awarded $1,000 to use towards travel to professional research conferences. Madeline will use the fellowship to attend the 2025 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference. Congratulations, Madeline!
