In October 2025, Dr. Mueller presented the keynote address at the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center’s Fall Community Conversation.

W-ADRC Lecture on Cognitive and Social Engagement in Healthy Living

In December 2019, Dr. Mueller presented at the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center’s “Healthy Living with Mild Cognitive Impairment” class. Her presentation was on the role of cognitive and social engagement in healthy living.

2018 ADRC Fall Community Conversation: Resilience in Brain Aging

At the 2018 ADRC Fall Community Conversation, Dr. Mueller gave a lecture titled, “Active Minds: The Roles of Cognitive and Social Engagement in Healthy Brain Aging.” Her talk focused on the impact of social and cognitive engagement on cognition in aging.

On December 17, 2025, Dr. Nathaniel Chin interviewed CCANDL postdoc Dr. Deling He, on her research exploring the connection between TBI, speech, and cognition.

On September 15, 2025, Dr. Kimberly Mueller appeared on Channel 3000 to talk about the benefits of hearing aids on cognitive function.

On August 5, 2025, CCANDL postdoc, Dr. Deling He, was interviewed about her research on TBIs and their effect on long-term cognitive decline in individuals with pre-clinical Alzheimer’s.

On January 24, 2024, Dr. Kimberly Mueller and Dr. Nathaniel Chin were interviewed by WPR regarding the connections between hearing loss and a person’s risk for dementia.
