This August, CCANDL received exciting news from the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC). The Wisconsin ADRC announced the two projects it would award funding to for its Developmental Project award, and one of CCANDL’s projects was chosen. The project chosen from CCANDL is Dr. Kimberly Mueller’s “Connected Speech and Alzheimer’s Disease Biomarkers: Investigating an Ecologically Valid Measure of Language and Cognition”. The other project the ADRC chose is Dr. Jesse Meyer and Dr. Joshua Coon’s “Learning Cures for Alzheimer’s Disease with Multiomics and Artificial Intelligence”. The two projects will receive two years of funding. The CCANDL team is excited for this opportunity and looks forward to the research that emerges from the ADRC’s award.
